MY TESTS BECAME MY TESTIMONY.

Have you reached that level of consciousness where you ask this question almost everyday just so you can take one more step towards your dream consistently..?
In life, there are no coincidences, only doors to new possibilities and new experiences. But, for that to occur in one’s life, one must sacrifice their opinionated thought process. Because an opinion means you have given up your ability to actually experience. Everyone who survives the test of time, is successful in their respective endeavors in some way or the other. But very few people thrive everyday, every minute or even every single second. There are times when we are dragged into situations that probably seem to be coincidental and feels like not meant for us. Little do we realize they are for our highest good. But what can we do to still be happy with what comes our way?
What life throws at you is not necessarily in your control, but, what you make out of it is 100% in your control. – Sadhguru
Well, if you read it correctly, you would understand the deeper meaning of the lines written above. To become the best version of oneself, people might say things, or may tell you to just be determined at what you do, etc.. But, unfortunately, it has nothing to do with your response to the circumstances around you. All that is not in our control, should not be challenged. And, whatever is in our control, should not be taken for granted. Instead, it should be taken proper care of by simply going with the the flow and letting new experiences to engage us in the beauty of self exploration and self growth.
The day we let go of the things that burden us in some way, we start to pick up the pace of our destiny that we are fated to encounter. Where there are no excuses, there is a change that occurs. Where there is a change, there happens to be a growth of some kind. If you think your life has fortunately been quite normal and easygoing and you felt like you were just lucky! Believe me, you have lived a stagnant and inconsiderate life irrespective of your possessions or your status in the society. If you think you have lived quite a different life, again, you may have been living in an illusion like everybody else because everybody wants to be different and a main character in their or probably someone else’s life. Since both the feelings feed your ego and keep you trapped in the illusion of being lucky or special, it keeps deteriorating you with time. It’s not about normal or abnormal. It is about whether you have transformed during the process of dealing with your life.
Let me list down some questions. make sure you answer these whether in comment section or if you are not okay with it, you can just write it all down on a piece of paper so you can introspect better. These questions if answered with ‘Yes’ as majority then, be assured that you are going to make it some day. Just make sure you don’t lie to yourself!!!
- Have you ever felt that your life has been a rollercoaster?
- Have you felt something like your life has been a movie with so many unexpected and some expected twists and turns along with a serious phase of depression, anxiety issues where you were on the verge of being shattered into pieces?
- Have you felt like every phase of your life taught you something that changed you forever?
- Have you felt like there was more to life than what was being presented to you at the time?
- Have you been broken and still wonder how the hell did you survive that phase, when everybody else was just surprised at how magically you fought back and came back stronger every time they threw stones at you?
- Were there any incidents that made you feel like every single day was different and adventurous for you than a normal person?
- Have you worked so hard yet nobody appreciated because you weren’t producing the desired results and still wondered why you never gave up?
- Were there some phases of your life that broke you but made you stronger than your peers and you still don’t know why it all happened in the first place?
- Have you been thinking about how and why you chose certain paths of your life and still never regretted any decision just because you got so much better with every little experience you had?
- Do you feel you are no longer the person, you used to be and that you have changed into a better person now?
- Do you feel it was all fated because you couldn’t make sense out of certain circumstances and certain hunches you had while switching to career options or jobs or probably passions?
- Do you feel the need to change yourself for better, even when you have had it all as perceived by the society?
- Were you content with you were all this time or were you dissatisfied with your inner progress all this time?
- Were you resistant to every change or persistent?
Unless you have gone through a transformation or a major change at different stages of your life, you have been living the same way as others. It isn’t always about the circumstances we are faced with rather the choices we make. There’s a saying “everything in your life is a reflection of choices you have made.” So, make sure if you want different results, make different choices!
But, if there were times that made you feel like an adrenaline rush while going through all the chapters of your life every single day. If there were days when you were too focused to be thinking about narcissists, breaking all the barriers that you thought were impossible as a child. Congratulations!! You are special!! Those days are the ones that have helped you break free of any perceptions or prejudices. Be grateful to those precious days they have transformed you!! Everything that you ever imagined, now, seems possible! Everything you ever felt or experienced, it was for this revolutionary change in you! You may not even relate to the Older YOU anymore and this YOU is still a WORK IN PROGRESS. There is no final destination when it comes to exploring oneself and one’s capabilities. There are still so many things to try, so many things to explore, so many things to feel, so many things to experience, so many places to go, so many people to meet, and of course so many blessings to count. Once this ongoing process achieves a consistent pace, you keep growing internally as well as externally where you find peace and that’s the person who you become! That’s your best version! The version that inspires many others around you! Isn’t this process exciting enough?
I heard it somewhere, “Some fates are as long as a novel and some fates are as short as a poem.” We can not change our fate! Someone’s starting point could be someone’s standing point. But, what if we focus on having different experiences and doing the same things in different ways rather than doing different things the same old ways? You never know who you may inspire!!
Just went through an article few days back. It was quite relatable yet a different insight for me. Read on..
“As an actor, I have set goals and made plans before, but this was meaningless,” he says when asked about his future plans. “Most often than not, things didn’t work out as intended. I received unexpected roles and faced unexpected situations every time. Life works the same way. So I am simply doing my very best under the given circumstances. When such experiences accumulate over time, don’t you think I might be able to perform just about any role someday?” “Looking back, I think as time passes, seemingly huge problems turn out to be trivial.”
– Actor Ji Jin Hee in his interview with KOCIS.
So what’s the Mantra? Well, it’s probably the simplest, yet hardest to be understood by some people. Do you know what it is? It’s…
LESS FORCE > MORE FLOW > MORE GROWTH
MORE GROWTH > FEARLESS YOU > LIMITLESS YOU
