Strength comes from flaws: A spiritual person is initiated through their flaws and insecurities rather than their perfectionism or angelic appearance. The impatience to achieve greater things is driven by higher stakes coming from a place of lack during their initial years. The beautiful life experiences they create later, are driven by their ability to transmute their flaws into their unique strengths that no other can imitate and as the perspective broadens they become stronger.. For them, it was never about believing, it was about knowing themselves.
Love speaks Louder than the Fears: They speak a universal language that penetrates through the harshest of humans and even other beings. They find their peace and solace by being inclusive to the world they live in rather than being exclusive to a specific community. Love is their language and it drives their walk, talk as well as every other expression of communication and exchange. It is the language of love that teaches them to detach from the outer world and still be loving in the present. Their fears are managed by the love they behold for their purpose and passion. If needed, they don’t hesitate to go solo on their endeavors yet root for the ones who are left behind.
Questions are the real Answers: The list of their questions is never ending. Since the day they are born, they often find themselves unfitting to their environment. Their initial attachment to the world takes a toll on them early in life. Often times, they are the black sheep of the family and turn inward for answers. Their questions are always backed by logic and reasoning rather than blinding faith. Why? Well, they understand how important it is to ask the right questions, in absence of which, right answers can never be presented freely without being distorted.
Freedom from Worldly Trap: Spiritual people learn to embrace their entanglement with worldly things and try to find a fine balance between their desires and their driving force. Many are ingrained with the idea that life has a set timeline, fixed sequence of milestones to achieve but it is possible to free oneself from those expectations. Rooted in their authenticity, they hold the power to transmute addictions into discipline and lack into abundance irrespective of worldly expectations. This is the real freedom they choose to live with.
Integration of inner self & outer self: As time progresses, spiritual people learn to own both sides of their being. They either become shapeshifters or become too straightforward. Either way, they know themselves better, observe deeply and act consciously in each moment of life. The reason being, their awareness towards becoming an integrated self and the fact that they are not separate from their inner self or outer self. Each ailment brings more awareness to their consciousness. There are no specific judgements, likes or dislikes, instead, a neutral presence within them.
Liberation is not a choice, it’s a need: They have their desires in place, passions in progress and dreams on the way. The dazzling and flashy things aren’t the motivation, an innate desire to liberate is the primary moto for them before they even realize it. As a result, they may sometimes associate themselves as purposeless and apathetic beings. Liberation only becomes a choice over time as they work through their disappointments in life. This inner calling propels them forward to explore and try everything there is to life while facing all of their demons in lieu of escapism.
A Connection with Nature: Spiritual beings are spiritual because of their innate nature and their profound connection with the outer nature. For them, worshipping the stars or cosmic entities is not limited to a shape or a form, because they understand the very nature of Cosmos they are a small part of. Thus, ego falls by the wayside as they grow wiser with experiences and there is very little room left to spend their energy on complicated and superficial things. For them, a time well spent in the woods, under the sky, by the ocean or in the moonlight, is worth more than a thousand desires they need to fulfill. It’s because of their inner calling towards knowing the universe and deeper meaning of their existence. Feeling one with nature is their cult.
Gratitude is the way Forward: Spiritual people aren’t always grateful but as they connect the dots, they evolve into most gracious beings over time. The wins and failures are a way for them grow higher in all aspects of life and they are grateful for each phase of life as it brings its own perks along with it. They understand when and where to stop attaching themselves from the outcomes of their hard work. In mundane tasks, they have the ability to find joy and miracles of an unexplored life. That’s gratitude towards all the elements of life and life in all its forms.
Every Activity is a Ritual: Spirit-Ritual, the term itself suggests that a Spiritual being is all about their inner spirit and the rituals associated with that spirit. While religious rituals hold their own reasons and worth for the outer world, spiritual rituals are way different in their essence while nourishing one’s soul. For a spiritual person, every day and every deed can be a ritual of its own value and this value is always found in simple things. Its because they know that life is simple it is the humans who make it complicated based on their emotions, triggers, traumas, egoistic expectations as well as fears. For them, a simple gesture of smiling at others as a soulful greeting is worth more than the chanting of words that they don’t even understand the meaning behind. Understanding from a place of curiosity comes first, cramming from a place of fear doesn’t.
