Past, Present and Future are all connected. – Anonymous

While very few may understand the depth of it, most of you must have heard this term called ‘Evolution‘. We as Humans, as the theory says, originated from ‘Ape’ like ancestors that evolved over a period of six million years and carried the traits that we possess today.

Evolution is basically a form of transformation and growth that gradually develop our beings. It’s a type of change that sometimes may occur to you as miraculous and sometimes may occur as if it’s the worst.

When a person is constantly changing and evolving, that person might be uncomfortable in their own skin initially, but, as they learn to embrace these changes within them, they will eventually start making others feel uncomfortable around them. ‘Cause when you are constantly evolving in life, you have no time to gossip or judge anyone but yourself. That is the moment where a person gets to experience the real bliss and realize their worth while being their highest self. You may find yourself in a dilemma of whether to hold on to certain habits or simply get rid of them. That’s when you need to decide whether you want to remain the same person you were few years back, or you want to see the best version of yourself while investing your precious time in self growth.

Have you heard of this very famous theory beautifully explained by Steve Jobs in a speech in 2005? It’s called Connecting the Dots, it explains how everything you have ever encountered in life, had a reason to. According to this theory, your past, present and future is all connected in some way or the other. In short, it was all relatively fated to happen, a part of a master plan designed by a supreme power. All we can do is collect the clues one by one while learning our lessons in order to reach our destination. (Dear Atheists, no offence please!)

Have you ever noticed how some coincidences seem surreal? At times, it feels like it is not what we wanted, it is only later that we realize how it all came together perfectly for a better reason! This is what some people would probably call destiny. Honestly, I don’t understand this term. But, I do know that everything happens for a reason. No matter how much you try to control your circumstances, what’s meant to happen, will happen! Nowhere in your dreams can you ever manipulate any scenario. 

It is unbelievable how perfectly our past and present aligns with our current situation and the chosen path for future at any stage of life. The more we analyze why some things happened and some didn’t, the more we feel blessed for today. Do you know why? It is all interconnected. No matter which door you choose for your future, it will open and pave the way for your destiny. This is how it all gets aligned with your destined path. Even if you over think the fate of your chosen path, it makes no difference in the final destination.

It’s like a fairytale where all roads of that small town lead to the palace as their final destination up in the mountains. It’s the town where all the walls at the border are linked to the walls of the palace. You can move around freely as you may seem fit in that town but, you can’t escape the walls that surround it few miles away. Here, ‘past’ is ‘you’ at any stage of life, ‘present’ is the ‘walls’ of the town that link to your ‘future’ which is the ‘palace’. ‘Town’ is your life, a playground where you are free to do anything and everything. Every move you make in this town will gradually help you evolve for a better tomorrow. Only if you believe that the town has walls, will you go in search of palace with faith.

In between ‘Present’ and ‘Future’, there comes a medium that changes the whole game, it’s your ‘Evolution’.
